The KC Dragons have another strong outing and down the KC Monarchs 17-3
The KC Dragons beat the KC Monarchs in league play Sunday night 17-3. The KC Dragonspitching was outstanding again as Garrett Pyle, Max Storch, Wyatt Hermann,John Thompson, and Matthew Drummond combined for athree hitter with eleven strikeouts.
The offensive attack knocked out 17 runs on 15 hits. The attack was led by AJ Johnson (3 for 3 with 4 RBI's), Max Storch (3 for4 with 2 RBI's),Wyatt Hermann (2 for 3 with an RBI), Nathan Mann (2 for 2 with 3 runs scored), and Mathew Drummond (1 for 2 with a triple and an RBI).
The KC Dragons are now 3-0 in league play.
August 23rd, 2008 The KC Dragons aggressive hitting attack downs the OP Astros 15-3
The KC Dragons had a great one two punch Sunday nightwith strong pitching and anaggresive hitting attack. Austin Crawford, Nate Mann, and Buck Lasiter combined for a strong pitching effort, only allowing two hits with eight strikeouts in six innings. The KC Dragons defense didaexcellent job in the fieldsupporting the pitching trio.
The KC Dragon's Hitting attack knocked out 15 runs on 12 hits. The attack was led by Cole Duensing (3 hits and 2 RBI's), John Thompson (3 hits and 3 RBI's), Max Storch (2 hits and 2 RBI's), and Garrett Stephens (2 hits and 2 RBI's).
The KC Dragons are now 2-0 in league play.
August 17,2008 THE KC DRAGONS WIN THEIR OPENING LEAGUE GAME 11-1
The KC Dragons took the field Sunday night to play their opening fall league game. The KC Dragonsone hitthe Lawrence River Dawgs and won 11-1 behind an outstanding pitching performance by AJ Johnson, Wyatt Hermann, and Matthew Drummond. Theycombined for a no hitter all the way into the six inning with two outs. Theycombined for 15 strikeouts!
On offense, Garrett Stephens led the way with a three hit, three RBI night. John Thompson had a two hit, two RBI night.
Matthew Drummond and Garrett Pyle added two hit nights with an RBI each.
The KC Dragons stand 1-0 in league play.

July 7th, 2008 The KC Dragons entire baseball team played hard with determination and focus the entire weekend. Every player contributed to the successful weekend as the KC Dragons finished their 2008 summer season with a second place finish in the Kansas 10AAA State tournament.

June 30th, 2008 The KC Dragons played their last league game Monday evening against the Lawrence Lightning in Olathe. This game was a makeup suspended game from April. The KC Dragons beat the Lawrence Lightning 6-2. Maxwell Storch led the way on the mound and at the plate. On the mound, he had 5 strikeouts and only gave up one run. At the plate he had two key hits and scored twice.
The KC Dragons finished 14-1 in league and a first place finish in the Blue Valley Golden Glove league. Their first place finish awarded them with a paid Kansas State TournamentEntry Fee.

June 25th, 2008 The KC Dragons played a solid game from top to bottom and upended the Olathe Cubs Tuesday night in league play 13-2. The victory put the KC Dragons 13-1 in league and helped them clinch first place in the 10 year old Gold Glove league. CongratulationsKC Dragons on your first place finish!
June 11th, 2008 The KC Dragons went into league play Tuesday night and took care of business beating the Monarchs10-2. The KC Dragons offense, defense and pitching all came together in the victory. The KC Dragons are now 11-1 in league and in sole possesion of first place with 3 games to play.
OFF TO OMAHA!
June 8th, 2008 The KC Dragons will take their act on theroad for the first timenext weekend as they head for the USSSA Road to Omaha NIT. This tournament isheld during the same time as theNCAA College World Series.History has shown this is a greatbaseball experience for teams that make this visit to Omaha.
The Dragons will face tough competition right off as they face the Millard Red Raiders from Nebraska and then the East County Rattlers from California.

May 29th, 2008 The KC Dragons won a important league game Tuesday night in Olathe 6-2 over the IS Mudcats. The Mudcats entered the game in second place. A win would have put them in first place with theKC Dragons. The KC Dragons did not give up ground. Maxwell Storch pitched a outstanding game. He went six innings giving only 2 hits with 10 strikeouts. Nathan Mann and BlakeLillis both had two hit nights.Will Sanders had a triple in the game as well. The victory puts the KC Dragons at 10-1 in the league and first place.
May 27th, 2008 THE KC DRAGONS TAKEFOURTH PLACE IN THE2008 USSSA10AAA SUPER NIT.
The KC Dragons were able to get outstanding pitching from their pitching staff during the Memorial Dayweekend. Blake Lillis led the way pitching 10 innings and had 8 strikeoutsduring the tournament and gave up no earned runs. Maxwell Storch pitched 6 innings and gave up no earned runs with six strike outs. Brett Hawkins pitched5 innings and gave up no earned runs. Jamey Fisher pitched 3 innings and gave up no earned runs. The KC Dragonsgave up the least amount of runs in the tournament. They ended up going 4-2 for the tournament.

May 22nd, 2008The KC Dragons got off to a early offensive startFriday evening as the cruised to a 11-1 victory. The KC Dragons offensive attack was led by Brett Hawkins who had a home run in the game. The pitching was strong and dominating as Blake Lillis and Brett Hawkins gave up only one hit and no earned runs. The Dragons are now 1-0 in pool play heading into Saturday play at the Memorial Day Super NIT.
May 15th, 2008 The KC Dragons pitched 5 pitchers and they all did a great jobof shutting down theMac N Seitz Indians 6-4 Wednesday evening. Blake Lillis, Trevor Brock, Brett Hawkins, Garrett Pyle, and Maxwell Storch all pitched outstanding. The Dragons made several nice defensive plays in the game.A standout defensive play was when Jackson Lazzo threw out a runner at second from deep centerfield.The KC Dragons are 7-1 and in first place in their Gold Glove League.
May 14th, 2008 TheKC DRAGONS were tripped up by the Monarchs in league play Tuesday night 8-7. The KC Dragons could not get their offense or defensegoing. They are now 6-1 in league play.
